I have much to say, but not today. I want to make sure I don't forget anything. I finished work today, and am now in my month off set aside to plan for this trip. I expect I'll be more diligent with blogging from this point until my return to work. :)
Upcoming - plane seating, first aid gearing, the plethora of gloves, a hat game, kindness of strangers, merino wool bought in canada for NZ (funny...), gerber makes knives, medical plans, extending ohip, the bank account saga, IRDs, and safety deposit boxes. And probably something else a bit more exciting.
My mother suggested I write a book upon my return. At first it was to be about the trip, then she suggested it be about the planning that I did for the trip. Some girls live their lives in hopes to execute the perfect wedding one day. They dream and plan for this one magical day. I... was not that girl. I have been living for this trip for at least a decade. My heart has forever been waiting for adventure. And despite life presenting its journey before me, this is something altogether different.
Four months to the day. It's like the clock has sped up and there's no looking back.
It's 4.55pm. My plane leaves at 5pm in four months. Ask me how fast my heart will be racing then!
Better yet, ask Brent.
He's never been on a plane before!!
